Loved Kate's dress.
Vintage lace, nipped waist, pleated skirt, tulle veil.
Very Grace Kelly.
Classic and timelessly elegant.
I have 3 dresses that are similar. Will be wearing one (or maybe all depending on how many costume changes I can manage) at out street party this afternoon.
Is that wrong?
Been on a bit of a buying spree in Ireland.
Five more delicious vintage dresses.
Including a 50's frothy knee length lacey number.
Was tempted to wear that one on my travels but was talked out of it.
They need to be cleaned and pressed and then pictures will be up.
Two vintage dresses, fresh from the original brides.
They've been hanging in the wardrobe since they came back their big day 60 years ago.
But now they are cleaned, pressed and in the boutique.
What a difference a day makes.
It was our first vintage wedding fair last Sunday.
(And my feet are still aching.)
One of my favourite dresses was snapped by a gorgeous red head.
Wished i'd taken her details, as i'd love to see her in it on her big day.
1940's, dripping in glamour. Can't believe I found it. Needs a bit of work. When i'm over 70 years old, i imagine, i will too.
Is in the nimble fingers of our seamstress.
Photo's to follow.
